Top 5 Myths of No Code
“No Code is going to take away developers’ jobs”, “No Code can never be as robust as code” BLAH, BLAH…BLAH!
Before you pay heed to these myths and rumors, hear us out as we debunk the top 5 myths of No Code, so you can stop listening to the nonsense and start building.
P.S.: Read till the end to find our ironically most favorite rumor 😉
And with that…let’s start debunking those myths!
#1 No Code cannot be used for certain aspects
This is not true. No-code platforms have become increasingly sophisticated in recent years, and they can now be used to build a wide range of applications, from simple websites to complex enterprise systems.
While some platforms may be better suited for specific types of applications, there is no longer any reason to believe that No Code cannot be used for any particular aspect.
#2 No Code is not scalable
This myth is also based on outdated information. No Code platforms are now designed to be scalable, and they can easily support large volumes of traffic and data. In fact, many large enterprises are now using No Code to build and deploy mission-critical applications.
You can read more about scalability in No Code in one of our previous editions where we have explained this in detail.
#3 No Code is making coding obsolete
No Code is not making coding obsolete. Instead, it is democratizing software development by making it accessible to people who do not know how to code. This is a good thing because it means that more people can build the applications they need and solve the problems they face.
By the way… if there was no coding at all then how are we going to build these No Code platforms?
#4 Platforms built on No Code are not secure
No Code platforms are just as secure as traditional coding platforms. Many no-code platforms have built-in security features that make them even more secure. In fact, many No Code platforms use encryption to protect data and authentication to verify users.
And now comes the craziest one…ironically our favorite rumor :P
#5 No Code is a myth in itself - there’s no such thing as “No Code”
This myth is based on the idea that all software is ultimately written in code. While this is technically true, no-code platforms abstract away the complexity of code, making it possible for people to build applications without having to write any code themselves.
Now that we have busted the myths, what should you be doing?
So, the next time someone tells you that there’s no way you can sustain your application and/or website on a No Code platform… SHOW THEM this edition of ABCD!
Have you subscribed to ABCD, yet? If not, what are you waiting for?
